Abstract

The theory of using dielectrophoresis effects to make a matching detection is studied in the paper. At first the dielectrophoresis effects in non-uniform electric fields and five polarization types of neutral medium in electric fields are introduced. Secondly, mechanical expression of matching detection is drawn from the analysis of the force insulators beard in the non-uniform electric fields. Thirdly, some important parameters are analyzed and simulated. The results show that the goal's dielectrophoresis force increases with increasing its dielectric constants. Finally, through the analysis of the principles of applying dielectrophoresis effects to a matching detection, a technology implementation approach of this principle is proposed.
