Abstract

A hydraulic model of controllable damping vane damper was established based on the structure analysis, the hydro-structure of which was simulated. Based on test data in different temperature of damping force and velocity input, the parameters of the hydraulic model were identified by the least squares fitting method. At different temperature, the comparison of the test data and results of calculation with the fitting parameters show that the parameters are reasonable and the method is valid. With the fitting parameters and calculation result, controllable damping vane damper design and characteristic analysis can be supported. The result also shows that the temperature can influence the damping force, but controllable damping vane damper can reduce the trend which makes the damping force lower.
