Abstract

For insufficient applications of the SINS/GNSS integrated navigation system in the tactical cruise missiles, a new navigation system composed by the SINS and the infrared goniometer system(IGS) is presented. And then, the application of this new integrated navigation system of the tactical cruise missiles is analyzed. With the flight data of missiles, the simulation study is made based on the Kalman filtering technique. The earth fixed coordinate system is established on the missile launching platform, and then making it the navigation coordinate system. The two measurements of the azimuth angle and the deflection angle are supplied by the IGS, the two measurements are fused with the measurements from the SINS by the Kalman filter, finally the information fusion system is established. The simulation results show that: this integrated navigation system can improve the accuracy of navigation largely and is easily achieved in engineering.
