Abstract

Aim To solve problems such as nonuniformly sampling, unmatched channel gain, spectrum overlapping in ultrahigh speed sampling system when multichannel sampling technique is used. Methods A novel method of ultrahigh speed data acquisitions on the principle of frequency-division multiplex was proposed. Two down converters were used, and the isolating bandwidth was equal to the bandwidth of BPF. Results The proposed method uses only two down converters, deducting many of them compared with old methods, therefore the design and realization are simplified. Because the isolating bandwidth equals the bandwidth of BPF, the problem of spectrum overlapping is solved better. Conclusion This novel method succeeds in solving the existing problems in multichannel data acquisition, and an easier way is offered.
