Abstract

Experimental arrangement of deflagration-to-detonation transition has been setup. The DDT process of model NEPE propellant has been measured and the strength of DDT tube on DDT studied. It appeared that the transition is more difficult to occur in a thin - walled than in a thick - walled tube and the tube has no obvious influence on detonation when the transition does occur.
