Abstract

The radio ranging system should meet the requirements of miniaturization and good anti-interference performance. The traditional radio ranging system is mainly based on analog circuits and works in a single ranging mode. So it's difficult to achieve system miniaturization and fight modern jammers. Using the programmable features of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS), and the reconfigurable RF front end, we'll design a general hardware system that can works in pseudocode PM and linear FM mode. By reconfiguring the FPGA, the system can adaptively select ranging mode, working frequency band and working bandwidth. The anti-interference performance of the system is improved, and the integrated digital circuit is conducive to system miniaturization.
