Abstract
With the widespread use of automotive FMCW radars, the problem of mutual interference cannot be ignored. The mutual interference will directly increase the signal noise floor and even result in false targets in a few cases. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an interference mitigation method using an adaptive canceller. Firstly, the particle swarm optimization algorithm was used to minimize the correlation between the waveforms of the victim radar and the interfering radar. Then, the optimal filtering is achieved by the Least Mean Squares (LMS) algorithm based on the reference signal to output interference suppression result. The simulation results show that the proposed method has a good performance on multi-type interference mitigation.
