Abstract
By analyzing the reasons and characteristics of image data loss and referring to traditional methods of image reparation, a new column by column method of repairing images was put forward. A new algorithm of image reparation through insertion of data was designed. The algorithm meets the demands of reparation. Conditions adaptable to the algorithm are found by tests.
