Abstract
Statically behavior of adsorption of the ion-exchange fiber for chlorogenic acid was investigated. Experimental results show that statically saturated adsorption capacity for chlorogenic acid is 252.2 mg/g (dry fiber). The adsorption behavior obeys the Langmuir isotherm and the freundlich equation. The apparent activation energy was Ea=15.498 kJ/mol, the apparent rate constant increases along with the augment of the temperature. Chlorogenic acid adsorbed on fiber can be eluted with watery HCl-CH3OH solution prepared at certain volumeratio.
