Abstract

As key direction to operators who conduct assembly activities, assembly process could be quickly generated based on planning knowledge. However, the assembly process still always lacks of accuracy due to inaccurate reusing cases or paradigms recommended by planning knowledge. In order to solve the problem, this paper proposes to model planning knowledge with properties of components, link relations and annotations directly" to define different kinds of planning knowledge in unified format and to accomplish reasoning of assembly process step by step by following given workflow. An example is shown to prove feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method.
