Abstract

A system using linear frequency modulation (LFM) source signal for time-domain near-field antenna measurements instead of traditional pulse signal has been established. It is shown that time-domain near-field antenna measurements using LFM signal are in a good agreement with theoretical calculation and simulation results. In the interval [-40°, 40°], the main lobe and the first side lobe error is below 1.3 dB.
