Abstract

In this paper, the historical experiment data of old system are used to extract reliability information of its part, and then combined with the experiment data of new system to evaluate the reliability. Based on Fiducial distribution, a system information decomposition and fusion algorithm for reliability assessment of units is proposed and simulation results demonstrate that the empirical coverage probabilities are above the nominal levels, therefore the effectiveness of the proposed method is proven.
