Abstract

The beam width is one of the important indicators of the antenna. In this paper, a millimeter-wave planar transmission array antenna with wide beam is designed. The whole antenna adopts a unit with polarization conversion function, and the feed mode is spatial feed. The FFT algorithm is used to beamform the antenna pattern. The antenna has the advantages of simple unit structure and small number of units. The simulation results show that the array has polarization conversion function and can achieve 50 degree beam width.
