Abstract

Substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is a new high Q, low loss, low cost, easy processing and integrating planar waveguide structure, which can be widely used in microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuit. A five-elements resonant slot array antenna at 35GHz has been designed in this paper with a bandwidth of 500MHz (S 11<-15dB), gain of 11.5dB and sidelobe level (SLL) of -23.5dB (using Taylor weighted), which has a small size, low cost and is easy to integrate, etc.
