Abstract
Aiming at the difficulty of down shifting in electric bus BK6122EV, the effects of shifting control parameters on gear shifting process are analyzed through establishing a mathematical model for shifting process and conducting simulation. A control strategy is proposed that improve shifting quality by selecting appropriate target motor speed based on target gear position. Then a dynamic simulation is performed on a model built with Pro/E and ADAMS, and a principle of setting target motor speed is put forward. Finally it is verified by real vehicle test that the strategy can shorten gear shifting time and enhance smoothness of gear shifting.
