Abstract
A new method of start-up demonstration test is introduced as an alternative and extension to previous ones. The probabilistic analysis of this test under the case of independent and identical distribution is conducted using finite Markov chain imbedding approach. And a numerical example provides some promising results. Analysis results show that the new method overcomes the limitation from old ones.
