abstract = "Stepped-frequency signal has been widely used in high-resolution radar imaging. However, scattering center extraction from high-resolution range profiles is challenging because of sidelobe and noise disturbance. This paper proposed a scattering center extraction method based on the improved CLEAN algorithm. Contrary to the range profile-based extraction method, the simulation results show the superiority of the new algorithm in estimating scattering center distance and sidelobe suppressing.",
