Abstract
A novel scanning waveguide display is proposed and experimentally realized. The core component, an off-axis reflective lens array with f-number of 0.75, is fabricated by photo-alignment technique combined with cholesteric liquid crystal. The system has a diagonal field of view of 100°, exceeding theoretical limit of traditional waveguide displays.
