Abstract

The evaluation method is the basic tool for satellite navigation systems' spreading codes design and performance analysis. This paper schemes a novel randomness-based evaluation method for spreading codes. Five basic randomness tests and the significance level are proposed in the scheme. The spreading codes of GPS L2C/L5/L1C signals are evaluated with the method. The result shows that the randomness affect the correlation and security of spreading codes, and the randomnessbased evaluation method is helpful for designing the signal structure of satellite navigation systems.
