Abstract
A precise signal model for ultra high resolution SAR in the two dimensional (2-D) time and frequency domain is presented. The traditional signal model is challenged because the 'stop-go' assumption can't hold any more in ultra high resolution SAR. Considering the radar's motion between transmission and reception of a pulse, the precise echo expressions in 2-D time and frequency domain are deduced. The precise signal model allows more insight into the ultra high resolution SAR imaging.
