Abstract

A parameter encoding method of digital channelized receiver based on multi-beam amplitude comparison direction finding was proposed. The parameter encoding flow of digital channelized receiver was introduced. The key problems in the encoding process were discussed in detail, including the measuring method of direction of arrival (DOA) and the amplitude synchronization between channels. The pulse description word (PDW) encoding of digital channelized receiver is the same as that of traditional receiver. Practice has proved that this method can satisfy with real-time processing requirement of radar signal processor in complex electromagnetism environment. It has been applied to recon receiver in ESM system successfully.
