Abstract

We demonstrate a novel hybrid polling algorithm for optical packets contentions resolution (HPACS) for OPSquare data-centre network based on fast optical switches. Results show that the HPACS reduces 46.47% latency, and 18.73% packet-loss at traffic load >0.5 compared with traditional packet retransmission contention resolution.
