Abstract

In this paper, a side-peak cancellation unambiguous acquisition technique is proposed for BOC(n,n) signals. The new test criterion used in this technique is based on a synthesized correlation function which is implemented by producing two different phase pseudorandom noise (PN) code, after shifting with the prompt PN code. In addition, the energy of the correlation function can be better accumulated with the code Doppler compensation. Theoretical and simulation results show that this technique completely removes the ambiguity threat in acquisition process, and the acquisition sensitivity is improved.
