Abstract

It is difficult to accurately determine and process the reliability quantitative analysis for complex systems with shared signals, so a more rigorous shared signals definition and processing algorithm are proposed in this paper. First, non-independent shared signals are sequentially modified, so that the modified shared signals are independent of each other. Then, calculating the system reliability with modified shared signals values. Finally, taking the load drop transfer phase of the hoisting mechanism of a nuclear power plant as an example, comparing the results with the new method, traditional method, and Monte Carlo simulation. The comparison shows that the new method put forward in this paper is more accurate. All in all, this study not only improves the theory of Goal-oriented (GO) methodology, but also provides theoretical guidance for the reliability quantitative analysis of complex systems with shared signals.
