Abstract

A new multi-threshold frequency domain constant false alarm rate detection algorithm for radar fuse was presented. In accordance with the movement characteristics of the radar fuse targets, this algorithm includes time domain and frequency domain thresholds based on traditional time domain dual-threshold detection algorithm, that is, the algorithm uses the multi-threshold detection techniques to reduce the false alarm probability. The simulation and experimental results show that this detection algorithm can be used to achieve both low probability of false alarm and reliable target detection even under low SNR condition. It is real-time and easy to be implemented.
