Abstract

To study method for calculating mixing free energy of polymer solutions. A new method for treating experimental data on concentrating dependence of chemical potential was advanced. Various methods for calculating mixing free energy through the Flory-Huggins equation were compared. Relations on concentration dependence of chemical potential were gained by various methods. As compared with other known calculating procedures, the new method was shown to provide more precise estimates mixing free energy.
