Abstract

Bistatic SAR (BiSAR) can extend the function of the present space-borne SAR without adding complexity of monostatic space-borne SAR, such as ground moving target indication (GMTI), interferometry, quad-polarization and multi carrier and so on. In this paper, based on the BiSAR system of one-stationary platform and one-moving platform, a new multi-channel GMTI and velocity estimation method is proposed. Furthermore, the radical velocity and position displacement of moving target are analytically obtained using magnitude or phase information after the clutter being suppressed. Finally, the simulation results verify the correctness of proposed method.
