Abstract
Online monitoring of dynamic crack formation process in materials is a crucial technology in production automation. Existing problems in present day acoustic monitoring approaches are discussed, and a new contactless acoustic emission sensor method is introduced. Experimental use shows that promising in being automatic in its monitoring process interference-free in action, convenient in assembly and low in its cost.
