Abstract

Using stepped-frequency method could achieve high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images, but the non-ideal factors of amplitude and phase may cause the grating lobes. This paper builds the signal model for steppedfrequency waveform, and a new low order phase error estimation method based on the overlapped spectrum in stepped-frequency SAR is proposed. The detailed description of this method is given and simulation verifies the proposed algorithm.
