Abstract

This paper presents a design scheme of blood pressure(BP) measurement for health care based on the oscillometric method. Maximum curvature method is proposed to simplify algorithm of oscillation amplitudes extraction. According to the results of the simulator data, on the premise of accuracy assurance, this approximate method not only reduces the complexity of detection algorithm effectively, but also is convenient to the hardware implementation. Furthermore, the family health care can be achieved with a low cost.
