Abstract
Aim To study algorithms of maneuvering target tracking. Methods Generalized likelihood technology was used for reliability and real-time to detect maneuvers. A new tracking algorithm was developed through combining the variable dimension with the state noise covariance estimation method. The state noise covari- ance estimation method was used to avoid transient error when maneuver is smaller. Results and Conclusion Computer simulation shows the algorithm has better tracking performance.
