Abstract

Generation of UWB radio fuze target echo signal is an integral part of the imitation of fuze working process in the UWB fuze test system. And it is the research emphasis in measuring and testing techniques of ultra-wideband fuze. According to ultra-wideband fuze system model, a method of echo signal generation for UWB fuze is proposed based on microstrip bandpass filter and a narrow pulse generator. Parameters for each microstrip filter unit, included spacing, length and width, are calculated. UWB radio fuze target echo signal is generated by the designed microstrip bandpass filter, which demonstrates the validity of this approach.
