Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a low-cost four-channel variable gain amplifier module with three chips assembled in a 7mmx7mmx1.5mm land grid array package. With 5V voltage supply, total quiescent current is 300mA. Each channel has 9dB gain, 3.5dB noise figure, 17.5dBm input third-order intercept point and no less than 24dB isolation from the other channels. This module can be used for 900MHz GSM base station receiver.
