Abstract

The piezoelectric micro-displacement actuator has been used in the precision orientation technology widely because of its outstanding advantage, for example, small size, high resolution, quick response and large thrust and so on. Piezoelectric ceramics is driven by a dedicated power supply, the driver is usually a high voltage direct current power amplifier. By analyzing the power of the piezoelectric ceramic driving power, a hybrid design composed of a switch inverter and a linear amplifier is proposed to solve the low efficiency of the single linear power supply. According to the simulation, the power consumption can reduced greatly comparing with the traditional piezoelectric ceramics driving.
