N2 - In this paper, a X/Ka dual-band frequency selective surface works with high incident angle and dual polarization is proposed. In conventional FSS design, mutual coupling effect between each resonator mostly leads to the optimization stage's being inadequate or time consuming. Therefore, a new design technique is presented to be able to optimize the upper resonance frequency without affecting the lower resonance frequency. Besides, as an important feature, the frequency spacing between the two resonance frequencies is as large as 30GHz. The upper operating band keeps wide although under large incident angle up to 60 degree.
