Abstract

Doppler-mismatch exists in phase coded signal compression. A Doppler compensation method for biphase coded signal based DMTD is presented and realized. By DMTD, the echoes of targets of different speed are separated. Then, echoes in different speed channels are compensated respectively for Doppler frequency. Doppler compensation on the condition of speed ambiguity is studied and a way found to extend the Doppler compensation range. The method is used effectively in a new kind of radar signal processor.
