Abstract

Current Web service composition models encounter performance or reusability problems. A Web service coordination framework is presented to support the data flow distribution. The formal definition, meta-model and the schema of the coordination protocol were presented. A mechanism to optimize and transfer the BPEL process into the coordination protocol was proposed to leverage the legacy composite services which are described by BPEL. The experiment results showed that the composite service deployed in the coordination framework achieved better performance than the BPEL based composite service.
