Abstract

Weak target tracking in multiple target tracking (MTT) scenario is a challenging problem for its poor observation. In the paper, the method for weak target tracking aided by the information of strong target is proposed. The new method is derived with Bayesian framework. Compared with traditional MTT method, it is proved that the proposed tracking method for the weak target owns three aspects benefits, which are the estimate accuracy, convergence velocity and steady tracking time.
