Abstract

This paper discusses the 3D reconstruction from images taken by a camera moving along its optic axis. In our solution, the feature-point matching and 3D reconstruction are realized effectively based on the properties of forward motion. Experiment results show that satisfactory 3D reconstruction can be obtained when the properties of forward motion are employed.
