Abstract
In order to research motion attitude of submunitions dispensed from carrier in supersonic flow field,the dynamic mesh technology was used to simulate the motion process of submunitions. Background and component meshes were connected by chimera grid scheme,and the k-ω turbulent transport equation was solved,and the 6DOF equation was coupled. The structures of cluster munition with submunition container at the front and at the back were numerically simulated. The results show that the attitude of submunitions is influenced by the shock wave of missile while the location of cavity is at the front. The change of attitude angle of submunitions at the back is less than that of submunitions at the front. While the location of cavity is at the back,the attitude angle of submunitions symmetrically distributed at the middle is interfered by the shock wave of surround submunitions and asymmetrical pressure field. The change of attitude angle of submunitions in the middle is asymmetrical.
