Abstract

As a new optical functional material, near-infrared circularly polarized luminescence (NIR-CPL) materials have broad application prospects in the fields of optical display, bio-detection and information storage. In recent years, with the deepening of research, NIR-CPL materials cover many fields such as chiral transition metal complexes, polymers and organic small molecules. In this paper, the related work of pure organic NIR-CPL in recent years is emphatically introduced. Through the review of the design strategy and research progress of organic NIR-CPL molecules, the interest of the researchers in organic NIR-CPL materials is aroused, and the theory and strategy were provided for the design and synthesis of organic NIR-CPL materials. The development direction of organic NIR-CPL is prospected, which provides a clear research direction for researchers.
