Abstract
Due to its high sensitivity, high accuracy, strong resolving power, convenient and flexible reproduction, storage and transmission, digital holography technology has been widely used in the measurement of micro-nano structures and biological cells. However, the recording of digital holograms is affected by factors such as limited apertures, and the reconstructed image will produce some edge errors that resemble ripples, resulting in the degradation of image quality and insufficient utilization of CCD field of view. Based on the digital holographic theory, this paper firstly analyzes the causes of errors, and discusses in detail the numerical parameters that affect edge errors. On this basis, a period continuation iterative method is proposed to preprocess the hologram and use the mean square difference of images to evaluate the iteration results. Through computer simulation and experiments, the results show that this method can significantly reduce edge errors and improve the quality of the reproduced image.
