Abstract

In order to obtain images with color and detail like daylight in low-light conditions, a color imaging processing method under low-light is proposed: denoising, enhancing, blurring the color detector images, and extracting color information; denoising the high-sensitivity monochrome detector image, which can receive both visible and near-infrared bands, and obtaining the details of the low-light scene. The color information is blended with the detail of the low-light scene in the YCbCr color space to generate a color image in the low-light scene. According to this method, two color and monochrome SCMOS detectors with the same pixel resolution and pixel size are selected to design and build an imaging processing system. The experimental results show that the processed color image conforms to the real scene and is suitable for human eye observation under the condition of 0.01Lx.
