Abstract

In complex scenes, the coupled scattering between radar targets and environment will cause interference in radar image features. This problem brings difficulties to radar target automatic recognition and tracking technology, and it is a common research issue in radar and electromagnetic fields. The traditional electromagnetic numerical calculation methods, which are used to simulate the scattering field in complex scenes at present, need huge computing resources and take a long time, and are mostly limited to a single type of composite targets. They are difficult to meet the practical engineering application. Aiming at this problem the technical route of the scattering center modeling in complex sceness introduced. Combining with the scattering center model, physical optics method, integral equation method, four path model, ray tracing method, the rapid simulation of radar imaging of group targets in complex scene is implemented. In order to verify the feasibility and universality of the method, the inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging results of targets in three typical composite scenes are presented.
