Abstract
Based on the principle of non-parametric statistics, a software reliability demonstration testing method based on non-parameter was proposed without assuming that the software product life is subject to specific distribution.Then, confidence analysis of failure probability was performed to determine the true value range of failure probability.Finally, through a specific example, it is proved that this method can effectively solve the uncertainty caused by the idealization of the assumed life distribution and parameter estimation without increasing the number of testing, so that when software reliability is finally verified, the manufacturer and the orderer accept the final demonstration result.
