Abstract
With the development of industrial technology, modern manufacturing industry put forward higher requirements for the assembly accuracy of components, from the early stages of system manufacturing to predict the accuracy and performance of the final product, which is conducive to improving the assembly pass rate, consistency and accuracy. In the process of assembly simulation of the precision parts model, it is the primary problem to locate the position of assembly model for the prediction and control of assembly accuracy, which the essence is the exact match of two mating surfaces with geometric errors. An assembly method based on constrained surface registration is proposed. Experiments show that the method with good calculation accuracy is accurate and effective. The method can analyze and verify quickly whether the assembled product meets the accuracy requirements. On this basis, the good verification, feedback, and visualization for assembly analysis and tolerance design can be provided.
