Abstract

With excellent performance, wide usage and large demand, chemical fiber filament performs an important role in daily economic activities. Aiming at the problems of chemical fiber filament production workshops such as difficult remote operation and maintenance, high equipment failure rate and failure of equipment collaboration, especially the conundrum of low efficiency in scheduling strategy during the process of chemical fiber filament doffing production, a production optimization system for chemical fiber filament doffing process based on digital twin technology was proposed. A doffing process based on five dimensions digital twin model was constructed, which achieved 3D visual monitoring and precise controlling of doffing processes in chemical fiber filament production workshop driven by real-time data. Focusing on the issues within the operating methods of chemical fiber filament doffing production line, a method in scheduling optimization of multi-target automatic doffing cars producing strategy was proposed with simulation testing that was implemented in a chemical fiber filament manufacturing company. The result showed that the digital twin system and scheduling strategies could effectively improve the efficiency of automatic doffing cars.
