Yan Zhizhong Job Title: Associate Professor E-mail: zzyan@bit.edu.cn
Associate Professor, graduate supervisor. In 2007, he received his PhD in solid mechanics from Beijing Jiaotong University. From 2008 to 2009, he went to University of Siegen, Germany for postdoctoral research. From 2010 to now, he joined Beijing Institute of Technology and has been engaged in the wave mechanics and application research of elastic wave/acoustic superstructural materials. In recent years, as the first/corresponding author, he has published nearly 60 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals, applied for 1 national invention patent, authored 1 academic monograph, 3 textbooks, presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, participated in key projects of National Natural Science Foundation and Sino-German cooperative research projects. He has made many invited and special presentations at international academic conferences, and is currently a member of Industrial and Applied Mathematics and a member of the Chinese Society of Mechanics.
