Materials physics research. This paper focuses on the theoretical study of the change of mechanical properties of materials in strong magnetic field by using non-equilibrium statistical theory.

Professor, School of Physics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Doctor of Science, engaged in physics teaching and material physics research work. He has been to the United States twice and the United Kingdom once as a study visitor. He has won more than 20 awards at provincial, ministerial and university levels, and has been named "favorite teacher" by students twice.

He is engaged in physics education research, focusing on teaching methods, educational measurement, educational technology update, physics history and other directions. During his tenure at Beijing Institute of Technology, he taught courses such as College Physics, Bilingual College Physics, College Physics Experiment, and Graduate Professional English. In charge of courses "University Physics -- Mechanics and Heat" and "Analysis of Typical Problems in University Physics -- Mechanics and Heat" on the MOOC platform of Chinese universities, and participated in teaching courses "University Physics -- Vibration Wave and Optics" and "Analysis of Typical Problems in University Physics -- Vibration Wave and Optics". Two MOOCs, "University Physics - Mechanics and Heat" and "University Physics - Vibration Wave and Optics", were also launched on Tsinghua Academy Online using the self-learning mode. The course "College Physics" taught was rated as the best course in Beijing.

He has published 13 textbooks, more than 20 first-author research papers, and presided over and completed 10 teaching reform and scientific research projects. The textbook was rated as Beijing excellent textbook.
