Personal profile

Yao Ying, associate researcher and doctoral supervisor, School of Materials, Beijing Institute of Technology. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2013. His main research interests are the innovative research and development of bio-carbon materials and their applications in water pollution control and electrochemical energy. Waste power battery recycling and recycling.
As the project leader, he presided over two projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China: "Research on new black carbon materials containing magnesium nanocrystals and their efficient adsorption mechanism for Phosphorus" and "Research on high performance nano biomass carbon materials and their application in lithium metal negative electrode". As a research backbone, he participated in the national 973 program project "Basic Research on New high-performance secondary batteries", national science and technology major special projects, and a number of projects supported by the United States NSF (National Science Foundation) and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). He has published more than 50 SCI papers in international high-level academic journals in related fields, including 31 first author/corresponding author, 13 highly cited papers selected by ESI (Essential Science Indicators), H index 30, i10 index 39, and a total of 8070 SCI citations. Results have been published in Energy Storage Materials (impact factor: 17.789), Nano Energy (impact factor: 17.881), Environmental Science & Technology (impact factor: 9.028), Chemical Engineering Journal(impact factor: 13.273), ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (impact factor: 9.229) and other journals. He has received the Bioresource Technology Best Paper Award, the Chemical Engineering Journal Top Cited Papers Award, and the University of Florida Academic Outstanding Achievement Award. Applied for 2 American invention patents, and granted 2 Chinese invention patents. Participated in the compilation of an English book. Member of ASA-CSSA-SSSA Society, USA. Reviewer of Nano Energy, ACS AMI, Journal of Hazardous Materials, etc.
